what we do

We shoot and edit showreel scenes that will show you at your best, both in terms of what you are capable of as a performer and how you look on screen.

the scenes

Scenes shot for a showreel basically come in two forms, the 2-hander and the monologue.

the 2-hander

2-hander scenes (should be no more than 1 minute 30 secs long) show how you `inter-act' with another performer, probably the most common form of dramatic action seen on screen, particularly television.

For the 2-hander you will obviously need an actor to play the other role. You can either ask a fellow actor to help out or we can organise a professional actor @ $50 per session. Obviously your choice of scene would favour YOUR character in terms of dialogue & screen time.

The 2-hander scene is strongly recommended.

the monologue

Monologue scenes (should be no more than 1 minute long) are more about 'inner' dialogue, externalising thoughts and feelings for a listener. The `listener' will either be us (the camera) or someone on/off-screen.
